Discover the world of colors and start dyeing wool and vegetable yarns at home, without fear! Easy to use, we wanted to simplify the recipes and make different techniques accessible to as many people as possible.
However, you'll need to carefully follow the safety instructions included in your kit.
GOTS pigments are recognized as inputs in the organic textile industry. GOTS certification is very demanding. It meets high quality, eco-responsible, heavy metal-free and CMR-free criteria.
Your kit includes :
You can dye plain or semi-dark. You can also color your yarns or play with speckles! All with your Eco Rainbow kit! On average, you can dye almost a hundred skeins with a single kit. The darker your colors, the more pigments you'll need. Conversely, the softer your colors, the more you can dye! So there's plenty to do with your Eco Rainbow Kit!
You'll need pots and pans or other equipment for your dyeing sessions. Gloves are highly recommended to avoid getting too dirty! Pigments are powdery (“volatile”). We recommend using a mask, especially for speckles.
You'll find dyeable wools on our site: our Natur'Carikai, our love wool for socks and projects requiring durability and strength. You'll also find our Miss DK Yak base and our Lucy Loop, a 100% merino SW single yarn.
The dyeing guide included in your kit is sold individually, if you need more!
Face-to-face (in Sciez, Haute-Savoie) and video dyeing courses will start in December. You'll receive all the dates and information by subscribing to our newsletter...
