Shawl Lol & Hop - knitting pattern

The Lol & Hop! Shawl is an ultra-simple knitting project to make, perfect for beginners or when you want to have fun!

With its asymmetrical triangular shape, you can knit your Lol & Hop! for both men and women.

The pattern does not require a gauge.

Three possibilities:

- Version 1: Single yarn, knitted with a single strand of

fingering wool (4.5 mm needle), the shawl will have a

more modest final dimension (approximately 1.40 cm wide for approx. 60 cm maximum height at the tip).

Version 1: Double yarn, knitted with two strands together like fingering wool + mohair and silk of the same length: you will get a larger, softer shawl… Knit with 6 mm needles.

Version 2: 2 x 400 meters of 2 different colors It can finally be knitted with 2 contrasting colors. We will alternate these two colors as we wish or according to the whim of our die! The explanations: 2 stitches are alternated. A classic stitch (garter stitch with increases/decreases to create the asymmetrical shape) and an openwork stitch. The alternation of these two stitches is done with a die. It is the die that will tell you how many repetitions of each of the 2 stitches you will have to do! And all the Lol & Hop! will then be unique!!!

An icord will be knitted throughout the shawl for clean edges.
